Our 2008 Club

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as president and participate in such a wonderful organization. We are proud of our members who have chosen to join the General Federation of Woman's Clubs (GFWC). The GFWC Temple Terrace Juniors are celebrating 49 exciting years of service. The club consists of many amazing women who have been instrumental in helping and improving the lives of area residents through countless hours of community service.

This year's theme, "Temple Terrace Juniors ... the Heart of Caring", truly represents our commitment to make a positive difference in our community. Temple Terrace is a great place to live, primarily due to our spirit of community! Reaching out to others through unselfish giving makes a difference in our lives and the lives of others. Through our activities and projects, we can make a lasting impact.

We participate in many activities, in addition to our major fund-raisers, American Girl® Fashion Show and Shop 'N Social. Through fund-raisers we generate monetary donations to areas of need, as well as providing meaningful social interaction for friends and families. Many of our other projects are opportunities for hands-on involvement where we can be directly involved in making a positive impact in our community. Through it all, our members give of themselves, showing they are truly the Heart of Temple Terrace.

Living each day trying to accomplish something not merely existing ~ is not just a motto but a life choice. Whether you have a little or a lot of time to give ~ your gift of talents and service are appreciated. GFWC ~ It's a Volunteer Thing!
