A HISTORY OF SERVICE

Representing District 8 of the Florida Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC Florida), the Temple Terrace Juniors, Temple Terrace Woman's Club, and Temple Terrace Juniorettes work together to serve our city.

Since 1890, GFWC has been a unifying force, bringing together women dedicated to strengthening their communities and enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. With nearly 80,000 members from every U.S. state and more than a dozen countries, GFWC members work locally to create global change.

For its second century, GFWC has pledged to maintain its commitment to working for a better world. With "Unity in Diversity" as its motto and a strong umbrella of programs that support the needs of communities, GFWC encourages the flexibility that has enabled it to expand its reach in a rapidly changing society.

Who We Are

TEMPLE TERRACE JUNIORS

The TT Juniors is a non-profit service organization of women working to improve our community by volunteering our time in support of local groups and charities in Temple Terrace and the greater Tampa Bay area.

Our members are dedicated to community improvement and enhancing the lives of others through service.

“The history of [Florida] would be incomplete without the immeasurable contributions of the thousands of [GFWC] club members, state officers and chairmen whose vision of a better community and state has been made into a reality by their untiring, unselfish work through the years. The gifts of service which they have freely given helped to make Florida what it is today.”

Jeannine Faubion, former GFWC Florida and GFWC President

OUR PROJECTS

living the volunteer spirit

The Temple Terrace Juniors lead numerous projects each year to further the Community Service Programs (CSPs) laid out by the GFWC. This structure enables us to harness the resources of our club membership and sister clubs to address a variety of needs across our community.

ARTS & CULTURE

The GFWC Arts and Culture Community Service Program encourages members to promote and support arts activities in their clubs, schools, and communities. It is designed to inspire clubwomen and ignite within them a desire to make their world a more beautiful place.
